John Allen

JOHN ALLEN has been performing in the Fort Worth/Dallas area for over 20 years on guitar, vocals and harmonica. Along with those talents, he joined Lost CountryTM to play bass in 2002. John also has a familial connection to the band as the brother/brother-in-law of Susan and Jim Colegrove. Since their first meeting over 25 years ago, Jim has been an important part of John's musical development.

John has worked with such acts as The Marvelettes, The Coasters, The Platters, Robert Ealey, The Convertibles with Doyle Bramhall, Rollo Smith, Buddy Whittington, The Juke Jumpers, The Shades, The Party Crashers, Count Blue, and the Sidemen.

Before joining Lost Country, John worked with Danny Hubbard as an acoustic guitar/vocal duo, performing in a variety of engagements ranging from casual club dates to blacktie corporate functions to strolling musician engagements.

John's the featured vocalist on two tracks of Lost Country's latest CD, Turn Your Radio Around: Perfect, and Pecos River Trail.

John left Lost Country late in 2004 to pursue other musical roads.
